Rhodes: Stripper Reports Rape by 26-Year-Old in Faliraki

A 36-year-old stripper has reported a 26-year-old Albanian man for rape in Faliraki, Rhodes. The man, who works as a baker, was brought in by the police but not arrested due to the statute of limitations.

According to the complaint, the woman and the man met through messages and agreed to meet. After meeting at a beach, they went to accommodation where seasonal workers reside. The woman claims that the man forced her into a sexual act, despite her objections, and used physical violence.

The 26-year-old denies the charges, claiming that the contact was consensual and that he has developed feelings for the woman. He claims he waited outside the shop where the woman works to give her breakfast.

A case file for rape has been formed and the case has gone to court. The woman testified in the presence of a forensic psychologist.
