Samos: Teacher Jailed for Rape and Child Pornography

A 47-year-old teacher from Samos has been remanded in custody on charges of rape, child abuse, sexual acts with minors for payment, and child pornography. The arrest followed a months-long investigation.

The acts allegedly took place from 2018 to 2024. According to police, the accused allegedly committed one case of rape, eight cases of child abuse, two cases of child pornography, and nine cases of sexual acts with a minor for payment.

A mobile phone and a television were found and confiscated during searches. The arrested person had been convicted in 2025 for indecent assault.
