Samothrace: 47-Year-Old Tourist Found Dead at Kremastos Waterfalls

A 47-year-old tourist was found dead at the Kremastos Waterfalls in Samothrace. According to pameevro.gr, the man had set off alone on Thursday (26/6) to explore the area.

His wife, worried about his failure to return, notified the authorities. A search operation was immediately launched with the assistance of EMAK, the Fire Department, and the Coast Guard.

The 47-year-old was found dead on Friday, bearing a head injury. According to reports, he was tied with a rope, indicating an attempted descent. His body was transferred to the island's Health Center.
