Truck Driver Seriously Injured in Ilia During Unloading

A serious work accident occurred in the Koutsochera area of Ilia, where a truck driver was seriously injured during road works. According to Patrisnews, the driver was attempting to unload iron bars when they rolled and crushed him.

His colleagues rescued him and transported him to the General Hospital of Ilia “Andreas Papandreou,” where he was intubated due to the severity of his condition. The accident occurred on the Pyrgos – Simopoulou provincial road, at a point where road upgrade works were being carried out.
