The Thessaloniki Court of Appeals sentenced Stathis Panagiotopoulos to three years in prison, suspended for three years, for a revenge porn case.

The former TV presenter was found guilty of publishing material with personal moments of a former partner online. The charge concerned the use and transmission of personal data files concerning the sexual life of a natural person, with the intention of harming another, repeatedly.

The court reduced the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor, ruling that there was no intent to harm and recognized a mitigating circumstance. Stathis Panagiotopoulos was not present at the trial, being represented by lawyers. According to reports, he apologized through his lawyers.

It is recalled that he was convicted in May with the same sentence for a similar act against another woman. Another case file is pending for the same offense.
