Two days after the death of Vangelis Stefanakis, new details emerge about his connections to the Greek Mafia within prisons. Stefanakis, convicted for the murder of Faye Blacha in 2013, had developed strong ties with mafia members during his imprisonment.

His acquaintances began in Korydallos, where he came into contact with an individual who was later murdered. He was then transferred to Avlona prison, where he met another member of the Greek Mafia. This acquaintance allegedly paved the way for his financial activities, such as a gas station in Spata and the buying and selling of super cars.

Additionally, Stefanakis was communicating with a 20-year-old from the northern suburbs, whom he met before his death. He died under unknown circumstances, shortly before completing his sentence, leaving behind a child born on the same day.
