32-year-old Jailed for Arson in Hymettus – Mentions ISIS

The 32-year-old accused of arson in Hymettus is being jailed, with the agreement of the investigator and prosecutor. During his testimony, the accused admitted to the acts, stating that he did it because he had not eaten. He also mentioned that he had heard of the terrorist organization ISIS.

Earlier, his trial in absentia for the attacks against three women in Aigaleo was postponed. The trial was rescheduled for September 23, in order for the victims to be summoned, following a request from the accused.
