Father Parthenios, known as the 'YouTuber priest,' and three other defendants have been remanded in custody for involvement in a drug and migrant trafficking ring. The testimonies continue tomorrow.

The case reveals the priest's double life, as he allegedly participated in a criminal organization that traded cocaine and cannabis while also transporting illegal migrants. According to the case file, the priest collaborated with A.G., 52 years old, the alleged leader of the ring, and other priests.

Police authorities describe a network that exploited the priestly status to traffic drugs and transport migrants. Their activities extended from Athens to Rhodes and Thrace. On November 7, 2025, members of the organization were arrested with cocaine and cannabis.

On September 13, 2025, priest D.M. was arrested in Rodopi for transporting six illegal migrants. A Nokia mobile phone, used for the ring's communications, was confiscated from Father Parthenios.
