«Violanta» Factory Owner to Prosecutor After Deadly Explosion

The owner of the «Violanta» factory, the safety technician, and the shift supervisor are being led to the prosecutor today, following the deadly explosion in Trikala that claimed the lives of five female workers.
The three were arrested yesterday and testified until late at night to officers of the Directorate for Combating Arson Crimes. According to Fire Department data, the explosion was caused by a propane leak in the factory's basement.
The gas reportedly leaked from pipes located underground and leading to the building's basement.
