27-Year-Old Turkish Man Arrested in Xanthi with 25 Pistols

A 27-year-old Turkish national was arrested in Xanthi by the Subdivision of Organized Crime Confrontation of Northern Greece. During the arrest, he was found in possession of 25 pistols.

The arrest took place after the utilization of information and a preliminary investigation. The accused was located in a short-term rental house. During the searches, 950 euros, a mobile phone, three mobile phone connection packages, and a vehicle key were also confiscated. The vehicle was also confiscated.

The arrested man was led to the competent Prosecutor. In addition, 13 Turks were led to the prosecutor of first instance of Alexandroupolis on charges of transporting 147 pistols and 190 magazines.
