30-Year-Old Arrested in Patras with Thousands of Firecrackers

A 30-year-old man was arrested in Patras by the police, accused of selling firecrackers and fireworks. The arrest took place on the morning of Great Monday, April 6, during an operation in the Rio area.

According to reports, during a search of his apartment, police found more than 3,000 firecrackers and fireworks, as well as a blank pistol.

A case file was opened against him for violations of the legislation on fireworks and weapons, and he is expected to be brought before the Prosecutor of First Instance of Patras.
