49-Year-Old Arrested with Explosives and Drugs at Agia Triada Tolls

A 49-year-old man was arrested at the Agia Triada tolls after being found in possession of explosives and drugs. The arrest occurred during a check by police officers of OPKE Lokron in a private vehicle.

Specifically, police seized 1,378 grams of explosive emulsion, 36.1 grams of raw cannabis, and 750 grams of untaxed tobacco. The method of acquiring the explosive material is under investigation.

The arrested man was taken to the Lamia Prosecutor's Office and is expected to be tried on Wednesday, January 7, under the fast-track procedure. A case file was opened against him for violations of legislation on explosives, narcotics, and the customs code.
