Driver Arrested for Speeding on Ymittos Ring Road

A 43-year-old foreign national was arrested by the Attica Traffic Police for dangerous driving on the Ymittos Ring Road. The driver was caught speeding at 191 kilometers per hour, exceeding the speed limit by 111 km/h.

The arrest was made by police officers of the Traffic Accident Control and Prevention Teams (O.E.P.T.A) of the Attica Traffic Directorate, in the Pallini area. According to the police, exceeding the speed limit posed a danger to other road users.

A case file for dangerous driving was opened against the arrested man, and he was led to the competent Prosecutor by the B' Traffic Department of Northeastern Attica.
