30-Year-Old Arrested in Athens for Drug Trafficking

A 30-year-old foreign national was arrested in the center of Athens on Thursday, April 2, accused of trafficking and selling narcotics.

According to the police, the 30-year-old was located outside a gambling shop. The police had information that he was trafficking drugs, using a metal thermos with a hidden compartment.

During the search, 20 nylon packages with 27.5 grams of cannabis were found in the thermos. A search of his home resulted in the seizure of an additional 393 nylon packages containing 563 grams of cannabis, apportionment materials, and an electronic precision scale.

The arrested man was led to the competent Prosecutor.
