Brother of Famous TV Host Arrested for Drunk Driving and Attacking Police Officers

The brother of a well-known Greek TV host was arrested in the Northern Suburbs for driving under the influence of alcohol. According to reports, the 38-year-old was driving a black Mini Cooper and a police chase was necessary for his arrest.

When police officers managed to stop him, the man allegedly reacted violently, throwing the police ID of one officer and pushing them. He then underwent a breathalyzer test, which showed 0.66 milligrams of alcohol per liter.

The incident occurred at 02:30 AM on August 17, 2025, when the 38-year-old overtook a Kifissia Security vehicle on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street in Nea Erythraia, violating the dividing line. After refusing to stop, a chase ensued. The arrested man is being taken to court and faces charges of drunk driving and violence against employees.
