Giannis Malamas Arrested for Attacking Police Officer in Athens

Musician Giannis Malamas, son of Sokratis Malamas, was arrested early this morning in Athens for attacking a police officer.

According to police, Giannis Malamas was involved in an incident with a taxi driver and, during the check, resisted and insulted the police officers.

He allegedly hit a police officer with his head, injuring him. A case file was formed against him for violence against employees, insult, threat, and bodily harm.

The police officer is being treated for minor injuries at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens.
