43-Year-Old Identified for Threats Against Latinopoulou on Social Media

Greek Police (ELAS) have identified a 43-year-old man as the administrator of a social media account that threatened Afroditi Latinopoulou. The Cybercrime Unit has filed charges against him for insulting the leader of a political party, incitement to violence, and insulting a political figure.

The investigation began after a complaint about an abusive and threatening comment on a post by Ms. Latinopoulou. The police investigation, in cooperation with the platform management company and the internet provider, led to the identification of the 43-year-old.

It is noted that a previous social media comment had incited violence against Afroditi Latinopoulou, which provoked her reaction and legal action.
