Fatal Car Accident in Halkidiki: One Dead, Two Injured

A fatal car accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in Halkidiki, resulting in the death of a 76-year-old man and injuries to two others.

The accident happened around 14:50 at the 12th kilometer of the Poligyros - Ierissos provincial road, when a car collided with a parked vehicle. According to grtimes.gr, the car was driven by a 30-year-old man.

The collision injured a 73-year-old woman who was inside the parked vehicle, as well as her 47-year-old daughter and her 76-year-old husband, who were outside the vehicle. The injured were taken to the General Hospital of Halkidiki, where the 76-year-old man succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning.

The Poligyros Traffic Department is investigating the exact causes of the accident.
