Thessaloniki: 23-Year-Old Arrested After Motorcycle Chase

A 23-year-old was arrested in Thessaloniki after a motorcycle chase. According to police, the driver was driving recklessly in the Efkarpia area around 22:30.

Traffic police officers tried to stop him for inspection, but he did not comply and attempted to escape. In his attempt, he entered a one-way street and the opposite lane, making dangerous maneuvers.

Following the arrest, the 23-year-old was fined over 3,000 euros, and his driver's license, vehicle registration, and motorcycle plates were confiscated. He was referred to be tried under the expedited procedure.
