Thessaloniki: 35-year-old accused of sexually abusing 5-year-old niece

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Thessaloniki on charges of sexually abusing his 5-year-old niece. According to the complaint filed by the minor's parents with the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.), the incident occurred on Monday morning inside the apartment where the family resides and where the 35-year-old is staying.

The man allegedly engaged in fondling and indecent acts against the girl. A case file has been opened against the arrested man for rape, sexual acts with minors, and violation of the Law on domestic violence. He is expected to be brought before the Prosecutor.
