Thessaloniki: 55-year-old injures 15-year-old with shotgun in Epanomi

A 55-year-old man was arrested in Epanomi, Thessaloniki, following reports that he shot and injured a 15-year-old with a shotgun. The incident occurred on Sunday night when the 55-year-old, annoyed by the noise of children playing in a field, started shooting in the air.
The 15-year-old was taken to Hippokratio Hospital with shrapnel wounds to his legs, arm, and chest, but is hospitalized out of danger. Residents of the area reported that the 55-year-old had threatened children with his shotgun in the past.
According to a 14-year-old's testimony, the 55-year-old often appeared with the shotgun and threatened them. Police arrested the 55-year-old and charged him with dangerous bodily harm and violation of the law on weapons. He was led to the prosecutor and referred to be tried in the Autophoro Monomeles Plimmeliodikeio of Thessaloniki.
