Thessaloniki: 67-year-old killed in accident on Thessaloniki - Kavala National Road

A 67-year-old woman died after being hit by a motorcycle on the Thessaloniki-Kavala National Road, near Asprovalta. The tragic incident occurred at noon.

According to APE-MPE, the woman was walking with her 11-year-old granddaughter when the accident happened. The 67-year-old was taken to Hippokratio Hospital in Thessaloniki, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Her 11-year-old granddaughter and the motorcycle driver were taken to Kavala Hospital with minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
