Thessaloniki: Lawyer Disputes Porsche Driver's Claims in Car Crash Case

The lawyer for the family of the 26-year-old woman seriously injured in a car accident on the Thessaloniki-Moudania national road disputes the claims of the 45-year-old Porsche driver. According to the lawyer, the driver's claims do not hold up to common sense.
The 45-year-old Porsche driver is expected to testify before the investigator tomorrow. She faces charges of dangerous driving, negligent bodily harm, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving under the influence of narcotics.
Lawyer Panagiotis Vrettos, speaking to protothema.gr, stated that the driver left the scene of the accident and that her speed was over 150 km/h, while the limit is 90 km/h. He also disputes her claims of not consuming alcohol.
The 26-year-old remains hospitalized in the ICU, while her 28-year-old co-driver is also hospitalized with fractures.
The 45-year-old was located six hours after the accident and confessed to driving the car. She denies the charges of abandonment and speeding.
