Thessaloniki: 18-year-old released after 13-year-old beaten in Sykies

The 18-year-old accused of attacking a 13-year-old in Sykies, Thessaloniki, has been released with reformative measures. The decision was made by the Judicial Council after a disagreement between the prosecutor and the investigator.
The reformative measures include attending social and psychological programs, as well as providing community service.
The 18-year-old is being prosecuted for attempted manslaughter in complicity, illegal possession of weapons and use of weapons. He is accused of attacking the minor with wood, causing serious injuries. He denies involvement.
The 13-year-old was hospitalized in "G. Gennimatas" hospital and underwent surgery. According to his father, he had serious head injuries.
