Thessaloniki: Beggar Attacks Waitress and Customer

A shocking incident occurred in Thessaloniki last Thursday when a 45-year-old beggar attacked a waitress and a customer at a shop in the city center.

According to reports, the man approached the waitress in Aristotelous Square and attempted to kiss her. When the waitress called for help, the perpetrator pushed away the shop manager and then hit a customer who tried to help, causing a brow injury.

The injured customer was taken to Papageorgiou Hospital to receive the necessary medical care. The shop owner expressed concern about the increased crime in the area, requesting increased police presence.
