Thessaloniki: 45-Year-Old Arrested for Thermi Car Accident – Positive Alcohol Test

A 45-year-old businesswoman was arrested in Thessaloniki for a hit-and-run car accident that occurred in Thermi. The woman, driving a luxury vehicle, was involved in an accident early Friday morning and left the injured at the scene.

According to voria.gr, the 45-year-old confessed to driving the vehicle and tested positive for alcohol, with alcohol levels above the permissible limit. After the accident, the driver exited the vehicle through the sunroof and fled, leaving behind two injured people. The accident occurred on the Thessaloniki-Moudania National Road, after Mediterranean Cosmos. The two vehicles collided and crashed into a light pole and trees. The two occupants of the second vehicle were taken to AHEPA hospital.
