Thessaloniki: Two Arrested for Drugs at Camping Site

Two foreigners were arrested in Asprovalta, Thessaloniki on August 27 for possession and trafficking of narcotics.

During the search, 1.2 kg of raw cannabis, 791 psychotropic mushrooms in capsule form, and 332 cannabis pills were confiscated. The narcotics were hidden in a camping tent hosting festival visitors.

The arrested individuals are a 23-year-old American and a 24-year-old American-Serb. In addition to the aforementioned substances, cannabis oil, gasoline, makeshift cannabis cigarettes, pills of unknown composition, and white powder of unknown chemical composition were also seized.

The arrested are being led to the Prosecutor's Office of First Instance of Thessaloniki.
