Thessaloniki: 85-Year-Old Swimmer Dies in Epanomi

An 85-year-old man was found unconscious in the Palioura area of Epanomi, Thessaloniki, on the afternoon of Saturday, August 9th.

Despite resuscitation attempts by the EKAV ambulance crew, the 85-year-old did not respond. His body was transferred to the "Papageorgiou" General Hospital of Thessaloniki for an autopsy.

The A' Port Department of Nea Michaniona of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki is conducting a preliminary investigation into the causes of death.
