Thessaloniki: EYATH Workers Injured in Pipeline Rupture

Four EYATH workers were injured in Thessaloniki when a pipeline ruptured during repair work. One worker was thrown into the air and hospitalized with a broken leg.

The accident occurred on Agiou Dimitriou Street, while workers were attempting to repair a damaged pipeline. Residents reported hearing a loud noise prior to the rupture.

EYATH announced an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. The other three workers were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
