Tragedy in Achaia: 60-year-old dead in truck-van collision

A 60-year-old man died in a fatal traffic accident on National Road 111, in the Dafnoula Erymanthos area of Achaia.

According to tempo24.gr, the accident occurred when a truck collided violently with a van carrying beehives. The 60-year-old driver of the van, a resident of Karpeta, was trapped in his vehicle.

The Fire Department intervened to free him, but his injuries were fatal. The police are conducting a preliminary investigation into the causes of the accident.
