Tragedy on Olympia Odos Highway: Two Dead in Car Crash

A tragedy occurred on the Olympia Odos highway, near Lampiri, Achaia, resulting in two deaths and one injury following a head-on collision between two cars.

A car driven by a 70-year-old woman was reportedly traveling in the wrong direction for about one kilometer before the collision. The 70-year-old's vehicle burst into flames, resulting in the driver's fatal entrapment.

The second vehicle was carrying two men from Megara. One succumbed to his injuries, while the other is hospitalized with serious injuries.

According to authorities, the 70-year-old entered the Olympia Odos highway from the Selianitika interchange and, under unclear circumstances, drove against the flow of traffic.
