Tragedy in Troizina: 73-year-old French woman drowns

A 73-year-old French citizen was found dead in the sea area of Aliki, in the Municipality of Poros.

According to a statement from the Coast Guard, the unfortunate swimmer was pulled unconscious from the sea and transported by an EKAV ambulance to the Galatas Health Center, where her death was confirmed.

The case is being investigated by the A' Methana Coast Guard Department, which is under the jurisdiction of the Poros Port Authority. The body will be transferred to the Piraeus mortuary for an autopsy.
