Agrinio Tragedy: Woman Falls from 4th Floor and Dies

A tragedy occurred in Agrinio on Monday evening (July 25, 2025) when a woman fell from the 4th floor of an apartment building on 14th September Street. Residents notified the authorities around 8:30 p.m.

Police forces, the Fire Department, and an ambulance from EKAV rushed to the scene. According to reports, the woman was standing on the edge of the balcony, outside the railings. Before firefighters could deploy the safety mat, she fell.

The EKAV ambulance transported the woman to Agrinio Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. According to reports, she was about 40 years old, divorced, and the mother of a young child.
