Traffic Accident in Voula: 58-Year-Old Taxi Driver Dies

A traffic accident in Voula early Thursday morning resulted in the death of a 58-year-old taxi driver after a head-on collision with a car.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Poseidonos Avenue and Varis-Koropiou Avenue. The collision was severe, trapping both drivers in their vehicles.

The Fire Department intervened to extricate them. The 58-year-old taxi driver was transported to the hospital, where she died. The 24-year-old driver of the car was slightly injured and taken to Asklipieio Voulas Hospital.

The Traffic Police Investigation Department is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
