Tyrnavos: Prosecutor's Order on Vasilis Kalogirou's Death

Vasilis Kalogirou had disappeared from Larissa on December 30 and was found dead 50 days later in a difficult-to-access area in Perachora, Tyrnavos.

The investigation characterizes alleged satellite data presented on a television panel as "forged" and "fabricated," supposedly recording the 39-year-old's "abduction." Authorities state that this data was actually surveillance of the area a year before the disappearance.

The prosecutor's order also answers questions about why hunting dogs did not locate the body and why there was no involvement of another person.
