Share on:

A prosecutor's order has ruled out the possibility of a criminal act in the death of Vasilis Kalogirou, 39, attributing his death to pathological causes and possible hypothermia.

According to the newspaper "Eleftheria", the prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Larissa, based on the forensic report and the investigation by the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.), emphasizes that there are no indications of abduction or homicide.

The family of Vasilis Kalogirou claimed that the 39-year-old was the victim of abduction and murder, a claim rejected by the prosecutor's order.

Video from a pharmacy security camera recorded Vasilis Kalogirou on the day of his disappearance, walking alone in Giannouli, refuting witness testimonies about the abduction.
