A prosecutor's order confirms in's reports regarding the death of 39-year-old Vasilis Kalogirou in Larissa. Theories of foul play have been dismissed.

The investigation concluded that the death was due to pathological causes, most likely hypothermia due to the cold weather.

A recent finding is a photograph from a camera in the town of Giannouli, showing Kalogirou moving towards Tyrnavos, at least one hour after leaving his home in Larissa.

The prosecutor of the Court of First Instance of Larissa rejected indications of abduction and homicide, refuting scenarios of criminal activity.

Kalogirou's family, through their lawyer, disputes the findings and will appeal against the prosecutor's order.

Vasilis Kalogirou disappeared from Larissa on December 30 and was found dead on February 17 in Perachora Tyrnavou.
