Kalandri: Prosecution for Intentional Homicide of 28-Year-Old

A criminal prosecution for intentional homicide has been filed against the 28-year-old for the murder of the 47-year-old in Kalandri. The accused is expected to request a deadline to prepare his defense.

The perpetrator, who was taken to the Evelpidon courts, reportedly stated cynically that he killed the victim because she had "slandered him to everyone." According to reports, the woman lived in the same apartment building as the perpetrator and they had met at the church's soup kitchen.

According to the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.), in March, the 47-year-old had reported to the police that the 28-year-old was stalking her. Recommendations had been made to the 28-year-old regarding civil disputes, without any ex officio prosecutable offenses being reported.

The EL.AS. announcement stated that a woman called the Immediate Action reporting that a man was chasing a woman with a knife. Police found the 47-year-old fatally injured with multiple stab wounds.
