Halkidiki: 4-Year-Old Boy Nearly Drowns – Father Arrested

A 4-year-old boy from Serbia nearly drowned yesterday afternoon at Kallithea beach, in the municipality of Kassandra, Halkidiki.

According to the Coast Guard, the child received first aid from a lifeguard and was transported by ambulance to the Kassandra Health Center and then to the General Hospital of Halkidiki for treatment.

The boy's father was arrested by the B' Coast Guard Department of Nea Moudania of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki for violation of Article 306 of the Penal Code 'Exposure'.
