The Hellenic Police released the details and photos of a 63-year-old doctor accused of indecent assault on minors at a camp in Chania. The prosecution was initiated following a relevant Order from the Prosecutor of First Instance of Chania for "Abuse in indecent assault of a minor who has not completed their 14th year of age by a doctor."

According to the allegations, a girl reported that the doctor touched her in inappropriate areas of her body during an examination for an injury. A second complaint concerns an 11-year-old boy, who the doctor allegedly touched in the genital area during an examination.

The doctor's lawyer, Michalis Stefanogiannis, stated that the case was reintroduced to the Prosecutor of First Instance for a new prosecution. The doctor denies the charges.

The police are asking citizens to contact the Chania Crimes Prosecution and Investigation sub-directorate for any relevant information.
