The Minister of Citizen Protection, Michalis Chryssohoidis, has filed a lawsuit against a 42-year-old pimp who was arrested by the police. The reason for the lawsuit is that the arrested man threatened his victims by using the minister's name.

According to protothema.gr, the pimp, also known as "shorty", exploited women in Athens, playing on their fears and claiming to have connections in the Security services and political protection.

Chryssohoidis stated that he requested an urgent investigation by the prosecutorial authorities to determine whether the slanderous claims were indeed made and to prosecute the 42-year-old and anyone else involved.

The pimp allegedly used drugs, such as cocaine, to control his victims, while forcing them to participate in orgies and the production of pornographic material.
