Upgrading the Archaeological Museum of Vathy, Samos

The Archaeological Museum in Vathy, Samos, is being upgraded through a program by the Ministry of Culture, aiming to modernize its infrastructure and services.

The museum is housed in two buildings, the Paschaleio and a new building, with a total area of 1,250 sq.m. The program includes modernizing the infrastructure, aligning with contemporary museum concepts, and ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities.

The Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, stated that the museum has a unique collection from the Heraion and that the upgrade is part of a broader plan to highlight the cultural wealth of Samos.
