Greece: Severe Weather and New Storm Front from Monday

Western Greece is assessing the damage from the devastating storms of the previous days, while a new storm front is expected from Monday.

According to the network of automatic weather stations of meteo.gr / National Observatory of Athens, the highest rainfall was recorded in Thasos, with 123 millimeters. Significant rainfall was also recorded in Northern and Western Greece.

Meteorologist Klearchos Marousakis stated that from Sunday night there will be a new storm front, which will be felt from Monday to Tuesday, with rain and local thunderstorms.

Giorgos Tsatrafyllias warned of heavy rains, thunderstorms, falling temperatures and strong northerly winds from Monday, which will last until Wednesday.
