Minos Matsas: Successful Concert at the Herodeion

Minos Matsas successfully presented the concert "Rebetika II+ Fado Tango & Blues, Songs of the World" at the Herodeion on September 16th. The performance, a continuation of last year's sold-out show, attracted a large audience.

The composer created a musical journey honoring figures such as Vamvakaris, Tsitsanis, and Papaioannou, while also exploring music from the Mississippi, Lisbon, and Buenos Aires. 15 soloists and singers Kostas Triantafyllidis, Dimitra Moraiti, Lina Cardoso Rodrigues, Debora Russ, and Eric B. Turner participated on stage.

Distinguished personalities from the fields of arts and politics attended the event, including Stavros Xarchakos, Haris Alexiou, and Olga Gerovasili.

Minos Matsas, along with his musicians, proved that music unites different traditions, creating a global language.
