National Geographic: Nafplio, 'Greece's Most Romantic Seaside Town'

In a recent article, National Geographic has named Nafplio as 'Greece's Most Romantic Seaside Town'. Rosa Castillo describes the city as full of 'narrow streets, colorful historic houses, and old Ottoman fountains'.
At the heart of Nafplio lies Syntagma Square, while visitors can wander through the Old Town and admire the neoclassical buildings. The statue of Theodoros Kolokotronis dominates the central park.
National Geographic suggests a walk in the Old Town, a visit to Palamidi, a stroll to Bourtzi, and a swim at Arvanitia beach.
