Giorgos Panousopoulos has passed away at the age of 84, leaving behind a significant legacy in Greek cinema.

He was a director, screenwriter, cinematographer, producer, and editor.

His notable films include 'The Honeymoon Trip,' 'The Others,' 'Mania,' 'Do You Love Me?', 'Free Diving,' 'One Day at Night,' and 'Testosterone.'

The film 'Mania' competed at the 36th Berlin International Film Festival, while 'Do You Love Me?' competed at the 46th Venice International Film Festival.

In 2005, the Thessaloniki Film Festival held a tribute to his work.
