Mikis Theodorakis Tribute Concert in Piraeus

Kostas Makedonas and Giota Negka will perform the songs of Mikis Theodorakis at the Veakeio Theater in Piraeus on Monday, July 28th. The concert is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great Greek composer.

The program will include selections from Mikis Theodorakis' vast repertoire, covering a wide musical spectrum. Songs and orchestral themes will be presented in a harmonious ensemble, honoring the musical wealth he left behind.

The orchestrations are by Thanasis Vasilas, a bouzouki virtuoso and close collaborator of the composer for 15 years.
