The educational community of Thessaloniki is mourning the death of teacher Sofia Christidou, who passed away after a hemorrhagic stroke. Her death has triggered reactions and allegations of bullying on social media.

According to posts, the 57-year-old had been facing intense pressure in her workplace and had been referred to a health committee. It is also reported that she faced bullying from students, with accusations directed at the school administration.

The Parents' Association expressed their condolences and rejected claims of responsibility on students and parents, denouncing the targeting of underage students. The NIKI party requested an investigation into the teacher's working conditions.

The Panhellenic Association of Doctors of the Public Sector (ΠΑΣΥΔ) also expressed its sadness for the loss of Sofia Christidou, acknowledging her significant contribution to education and science.
