Elevator Registry: Increased Building Costs Due to Census

Greece is activating the Elevator Registry after 20 years, requiring the mandatory registration of 500,000 elevators by November 2025.

This move, foreseen by the European Union since the 2010s, aims to register all elevators, regardless of age or operating condition.

The registration process is expected to financially burden owners due to the required work and resources.
