DYPA: Complaints of Non-Transparent Procedures in Unemployed Training Program

Disturbance prevailed with DYPA's latest announcement for "training the unemployed in cutting-edge sectors," with a voucher per beneficiary of up to 2,250 euros. There were complaints about the exclusion of thousands of unemployed due to the short application period.
According to complaints, the platform for applications to participate in the program opened suddenly on 24/7 and closed after about 40 minutes, as a result of which many did not manage to submit an application. DYPA reports that 30,040 applications were accepted in that period.
Questions are raised regarding the lack of timely information to the unemployed about the exact start time of the platform. It was also reported that the invitation to the program was posted on Diavgeia just two hours before the platform opened.
DYPA, in a statement, states that the announcement was completely legal and transparent, and that the Lifelong Learning Centers had been informed since July 3 about the implementation of the programs.
DYPA employees express concerns about the transparency and effectiveness of the training programs, and call for greater control and participation of the organization in all stages.
